Software Engineer FastTrack (Online)

Next Cohort:
7th Sep 2021 - 17th Mar 2022
Tue, Thu & Sat
Online Classes

Gain a comprehensive understanding of how to build software in our 24-week immersive part-time bootcamp, and gain the skills you need to become a Junior Software Engineer.

Our Software Engineer FastTrack course covers all aspects of software development. You'll learn about the tools you’ll need to get started, before moving on to gain an in-depth understanding of one of the most popular programming languages: JavaScript.

You'll then build backend services (or APIs) that can store, manipulate and provide data, which you'll later use when building frontend applications which are able to consume this data and present it in a user-friendly manner.

All testimonials

A new career is literally 6 months away if you start today. You will be hard pushed to find a course that returns what this one does in the amount of time it takes to complete.

I really liked the wide range of topics we covered, there was a curriculum to follow which meant the course progressed at a fast pace and each week we were learning a new concept.

As I progressed through the weeks, all of the different skills I had learnt came together to create bigger projects allowing me to gain a deeper understanding of the course material.

Having friends that did a similar bootcamp in other schools, I always felt, in comparison, that I was not just another head in the crowd.

I am 4 months into a Junior Front Developer role and really enjoying it! I got the job offer on the day of our cohort’s graduation.

The teachers/mentors and my classmates are fantastic. If they can teach a nurse how to code, I reckon they can teach anybody!

As a teacher, I am not able to be flexible in my working hours so being able to attend evening lectures and work through the curriculum in my own time was very attractive.

The tutors were a great support too, incredibly patient, and explained concepts to me multiple times if I was struggling to grasp them.

Manchester Codes was a life changing experience for me. You are joining a community of helpful likeminded people always willing to help.

Remote-first: How we are adapting

For us, the thought of moving online wasn’t something that was thrown upon us by’s actually something we had in the pipeline almost a year prior to our hand eventually being forced. In that time period we had a vision of an online learning environment complemented by a bespoke interactive learning platform and a community of like minded learners.
