How long have you been coding? How did you get started?
I started properly in 2019, however I first dabbled with HTML and CSS back in the days of Myspace!
What do you enjoy about working at Manchester Codes?
There's a great team here and it's really rewarding helping those at the beginning of their software development journey.

Least favourite language and framework/library/ tool?
I wouldn't say it's a least favourite because I actually enjoy it when things go right - but CSS frustrates me the most haha
One piece of advice you have for people fresh to Software development?
Ask questions - where that's with code mentors, more senior people at work, on twitter - it's always good to get other people's perspectives.
Outside of work, what do I like to do for fun? How do you spend your downtime?
I like cooking and baking, during lockdown especially I've been trying lots of different recipes, along with the obligatory banana breads.
What did you want to be when you were younger?
I used to want to work on the checkouts at Sainsbury's - I feel like because of self checkout I've been able to achieve it!
If you were stranded on a remote island, alone. What piece of technology/ gadget would you be unable to live without?
My kindle - with loads of books pre-downloaded
